Drink more water to boost immunity power
The more amount of water we drink the immunity power increases. It is better when you drink warm water and hot water when you are affected by cold, cough, throat pain, breathing problems, etc.
Do steaming
People who are suffering from breathing problems, cold, cough, throat pain, etc. can do steaming for better results. It is more advisable to do steaming at least twice a week. Doing steaming with eucalyptus oil, tulsi (holy basil) leaves, etc. is more effective.
When you have irritation in the throat
Having irritation, pain, or wound in the throat do gargle with warm water and salt every day. This reduces the pain and infection in the throat. Also, mix half teaspoon of pepper powder with 1 teaspoon of honey and eat it early morning. Drinking turmeric tea is also effective. Also consuming herbs like tulsi, cumin, pepper, thippili, karpooravalli (Mexican mint) are very effective.
Honey increases the immunity power
Consuming a spoonful of honey every day is very good for health. Honey has anti-viral and ant-bacterial properties.
When having cold, fever, and cough take gooseberry, a small piece of ginger, and coconut grinds these ingredients into a chutney consistency and have it. Vitamin C in gooseberry is good for health.
Eat garlic
Taking garlic every day in your food is good for health. Allicin in garlic provides anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.
Drink lemon juice
Drinking lemon juice with warm water is effective for health. Mix 2 teaspoon of lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of honey and a glass of warm water. Drinking it gives several health benefits to your body.
Health benefits of guava
Eating guava or drinking guava leaves juice is good for health. This helps to get rid of mucus and other infections from the nose, throat, and respiratory tract.
Athimadhuram (Licorice)
Munching of licorice sticks is an old-age remedy for sore throat. Athimadhuram or licorice boosts the immunity in the body.
Eucalyptus
Boiling eucalyptus leaves with water and drinking the water is effective. Or applying eucalyptus oil in the chest and collar region is good.
Peppermint oil, lemongrass oil, and Thailam
All these oils are effective for cold and other respiratory problems. Applying these oil directly in the body or adding a few drops of this oil into the water and doing steaming is more effective.
Also, doing sunbath and banana leaf bath is more good for the body, it boosts the immunity in your body.
Consuming fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamin C is good for health. Drinking ABC juice and apple, carrot and orange juice is good for health. In this vitamin B6, potassium, folic acid, etc. are contained. Also, juice made with orange and grapes is good, the antioxidants in it protect the body cells. Taking spinach, greens, beetroot, carrot, watermelon, pomegranate, etc. provides immunity to the body and protects the body from infections that are caused by viruses and other microbes.
