Working home remedies for dandruff


The skin condition that mainly affects your scalp is dandruff. The symptoms includes itchiness, flakes of your dried skin. Dandruff is caused due to environmental and genetic factors. 3 of 6 people experiences dandruff in their life.  Here are some simple working home remedies to get rid of dandruff from your hair.

Neem

Neem has antifungal and antibacterial properties. It helps in conditioning your scalp, reduce dandruff, prevents lice from your hair, stimulate healthy hair growth, minimize gray hair, helps hair follicle to become stronger.
Take a bunch of neem leaves and boil them in hot water. Allow it to boil for 6 to 8 minutes on a high flame. Drain the water and store it in a bottle. After shampooing your hair, finally rinse your hair with this neem water which provides better results.

Aloe vera                         

Aloe vera gives benefits for both hair and skin. Applying aloe vera in hair gives many benefits to your hair. It makes your hair soft, smooth, silky. Aloe vera consists of vitamin A, C and E. Folic acid and vitamin B12 are also contained in aloe vera.
Apply aloe vera gel on all parts of your hair from scalp to bottom of the hair. Rest for 20 minutes and rinse your hair.

Salt

One of the biggest causes for dandruff is pore clogging. Salt helps in loosening the flakes on your scalp, also helps in getting rid of dead skin cells that are built in your hair.  Also, sometimes due to excess production of sebum from sebaceous glands, makes your hair with oiliness. Applying salt on your hair helps in absorbing too much presence of oil from your hair.

Coconut oil

When your scalp is too dried, then dandruff is formed. Antifungal properties and antibacterial properties are present in coconut oil. The property helps in reducing dandruff and does not make your hair too dried. Coconut oil defends against hair loss, dandruff, dryness, split ends and baldness. Coconut oil gives natural hair color pigment.
Give hot coconut oil massage to your scalp. Heat the coconut oil, do not make it too heat. You should be able to apply on scalp after heating. Section your hair from middle perfectly, now dip your fingers with coconut oil and massage in the section part (the straight line which you took in middle of hair), massage your hair totally with coconut oil. Now, rest for 20 minutes. Wash your hair with sulphate free shampoo.

Garlic

Dandruff is a common problem for everyone. Garlic is admitted to be an outstanding herbal remedy. The nutrients that are contained in garlic are vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, zinc, calcium, phosphorous, manganese, selenium etc. Garlic has huge source of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). Benefits of garlic can be updated either by direct daily consumption or its extract in oil, shampoo etc.
